Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen is a full-service restaurant for dinner and Sunday brunch, capturing the very essence of American culture and cuisine through innovative interpretations of classic dishes that represent the diverse culinary heritage of this nation. From wood-burning to fire-roasting and baking, each dish on the seasonal menu will be touched by fire in some form or another. The menu celebrates small farmers, heritage growers, and fisherman – regionally, from the Mid-Atlantic and Virginia to the bountiful Gulf Coast.
Dinner dishes may include NG Caesar - Baby Romaine, Crispy Parmesan Crumble, and White Anchovy Fillets; The Chop - Wood-Oven Roasted Double Cut Bone-in Autumn-Olive Farm’s Pork Chop with Whole Grain Mustard Pan Sauce and a Fennel and Green Apple Slaw; Crispy Chicken Milanese, creamy Garlic-Parmesean Dressing, Arugula and Watercress Salad, and Lemon-Chili Vinaigrette; Fire Roasted Oysters on the half-shell with Lemon-Garlic-Parm Butter, and Parmesan; the Burger – CHF “Shenandoah Randall Line-Back” Double Patty, Shaved Vidalia Onions, American Cheese, Pickles Ketchup, Yellow Mustard on a Potato Bun and Crispy Fries; Chocolate Candy Bar - Flourless Cake, Praline Crunch, Mousse, Nibs, Salt, Smoked Mandarin Caramel; Sea Salt Pavlova - Salt-Baked Meringue, Fire-Roasted Plums, Tarragon-Lime Cream, Petite Sirah Reduction; and Créme Caramel with Fall Apple and Cranberry Compote, and Almond-cinnamon-puff "twist". ​

Sunday Brunch goers will rejoice with culinary artistry meets southern comforts with dishes like the decadent Loaded Lost Bread that is a Vanilla Bean Custard Stuffed French Toast, crowned with Caramelized Apples and a drizzle of Vermont's Maple Syrup; 18-hour Braised Brisket and Smoky Cheddar Grits, Stewed Creole Tomatoes; Quiche of the Day - a warm deep dish quiche, side salad; Buttermilk Biscuits + Crawfish Gravy; Chicken Fried Chicken "Steak," Virginia Country Ham Gravy, Fried Egg; Pecan Brown Butter Buttermilk Waffle is topped off with mini pitcher of Compass Winds Shenandoah Sorghum, Sea Salt, and an extra pat of Butter for good measure! Every dish promises to be a flavor-packed adventure. The NGBK Cocktail Cart, roams through the dining room serving curated spirited concoctions in your very own carafe, complete with your own mini ice-bucket. Bliss is brought tableside with a zesty Red Rock Bloody or a creamy Tres Leches Rum Punch or a twist on the traditional mimosa, the Pear-mosa with farm fresh pear juice and sparkling wine.
