Due to areas with space constraints and needed accessibility for ADA compliant guests, strollers are not always able to be placed at the table but we can have them stored up front of the restaurant. Please note, high chairs or booster seats for young children are not provided, but you are welcome to bring them.
As an upscale casual establishment, It is preferred that hats are only worn at the bar area or on the patio only, and not in the dining space.
For parties of six or more, please contact the restaurant directly during business hours to secure your reservation.
For parties of five or more - your credit card information is required to hold your table, and we kindly request 24 hours' notice for any cancellations to avoid a $25 per person cancellation fee.
For all other reservations, we ask for 12 hours' notice if plans change. This small courtesy allows us to welcome another guest, reduce food waste, and continue the tradition of southern hospitality that's always been our foundation. We'll work with you to reschedule your reservation. A "No-Show" is an automatic charge.
EXPERIENCE
The only piece of New Orleans Guas takes to this restaurant is the name - Neutral Ground - which holds a deep significance in his native city. After the Louisiana Purchase, Americans, of all races and religions, would come together as a unified community at a neutral green area between streets – adding a pastoral distinction to the charming neighborhoods.
These characteristics are reflected, not only in the philosophy of the restaurant, but also in the interior – a tranquil, spacious dining room that is meant to feel like a shared, comfortable space with a fresh, coastal flair.
Enhancing the interior ambiance are multiple colorful and cheerful backdrops - wall-coverings that define a sense of place: palmetto leaves that greet guests at the entrance; pops of pink, tan, and orange palm trees grace the private eight-person dining space; and tropical jungle accents of greens, blues, pinks, and orange brighten the bar area. Above lie rattan textured shades, transforming the industrial ceiling into an art form. Hues of warm whites, sandy beach tints, light ash-colored woods define the landscape of the tables and chairs.
The exterior features an open air dining area, framed with boxed foliage, reminiscent of a garden party. Burnt orange umbrellas shade the patio and comfy green chairs have comfortable diners wanting to stay awhile.
